For sale is 20 grams of wild harvested Syrian Rue (Peganum harmala) seeds. Native to temperate desert and Mediterranean regions, this perennial plant grows from 1’-3’ tall and produces beautiful white flowers. During the months of July through November the plant produces “fruit” which are just seed pods containing up to 50 seeds.
These seeds can be a bit tricky to germinate. It is recommended to spread them liberally in a growing tray filled with soil and then sprinkle the seeds with a thing layer of soil to cover them. Mist the top layer of soil, then place the grow tray on a heating mat. Moisten a paper towel (moist, not saturated) and place so it covers the top layer of soil, but is not touching it, by draping it over the sides of the grow tray. Make sure this paper towel always stays moist and check for germination daily.
