This particular listing is for a bushed shou sugi ban pot, planted with a Graptosedum succulent. Shou sugi ban is a traditional Japanese technique that has been used for centuries to preserve wood with fire and tung oil. I use a propane torch to burn the wood until each face is glowing red, and charred. After cooling, I can finish the pot in two ways; alligator skin, or brushed.
These grow cubes are selected for their grain pattern and then hand cut from a large piece of redwood lumber. No two are ever identical. Each cube measures 3.5 in. on all faces, with a 2.5 in.  planter hole bored in the top, along with 1/4 in. drainage holes drilled into the bottom. This pot is sure to turn heads when placed in a windowsill, desktop, or anywhere else space is a premium.
