Chaliponga is another beautiful South American vine found in the rain forests of Ecuador, Peru, and Brazil. These leaves are very similar in appearance to Banisteriopsis caapi leaves, however they contain completely different alkaloids. Diplopterys cabrerana leaves are said to be one of the strongest "light" admixtures to Ayahuasca. Many Shamans do not even give their patients this admixture until they have gained experience with some of the less potent admixtures, such as Psychotria viridis. These particular leaves for sale were ethically harvested, and hand picked by experienced Shamans in Ecuador.
